　　give的用法

　　give是常用動詞,詞義豐富,用法復(fù)雜,構(gòu)詞能力強(qiáng); 其基本的詞義是“給”。give作及物動詞時可接名詞或代詞作賓語,也可接雙賓語,其間接賓語有時可轉(zhuǎn)換為介詞to的賓語,還可接動詞不定式或以“as+ n. ”充當(dāng)補(bǔ)足語的復(fù)合賓語。

　　give接雙賓語時,間接賓語是人,雙賓語的句型可以轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)楦鷗o短語的句型,但當(dāng)間接賓語是物時,則間接賓語在前,直接賓語在后的位置是固定的,不可以轉(zhuǎn)換。give接雙賓語時的被動結(jié)構(gòu)可把間接賓語變?yōu)橹髡Z; 也可把直接賓語變?yōu)橹髡Z。但人們通常對人(或動物)比對物更感興趣,所以用人作主語比較多。

　　give的過去分詞常用作定語,多前置,構(gòu)成過去分詞短語時則一般后置。過去分詞短語作狀語時表示完成或被動的意義,作“假定; 容許; 如果有…”解。

　　give的現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時可表示按計劃〔安排、打算〕將要發(fā)生的動作,這時句中一般有表示將來的時間狀語或特定的上下文。

　　習(xí)語give it me主要用在英國, give it to me則多用在美國,是正式用法。

　　give的間接賓語是人時,跟雙賓語的句型可以轉(zhuǎn)換為跟to短語的句型,但當(dāng)間接賓語是物時,則間接賓語在前,直接賓語在后的位置是固定的,不可以轉(zhuǎn)換。例如:
