　　A passenger told an air hostess that he needed a cup of water to take his medicine when the plane just took off. She told him that she would bring him the water in ten minutes.

　　飛機(jī)剛剛起飛，一位乘客向空姐要一杯水吃藥?？战愀嬖V他等飛機(jī)起飛后10分鐘就為他送來(lái)。

　　Thirty minutes later, when the passenger’s ring for service sounded, the air hostess flew in a flurry. She was kept so busy that she forgot to deliver him the water. As a result, the passenger was held up to take his medicine. She hurried over to him with a cup of water, but he refused it.

　　30分鐘后，客人要求服務(wù)的鈴聲響了，空姐慌了神，原來(lái)在忙碌中她忘了為客人送水，耽誤了客人吃藥。她馬上給客人送去一杯水，但客人拒絕了。

　　In the following hours on the flight, each time the stewardess passed by the passenger she would ask him with a smile whether he needed help or not. But the passenger never paid heed to her.

　　在此后幾小時(shí)的飛行中，空姐每次經(jīng)過(guò)客人都要微笑著問(wèn)客人需要什么服務(wù)，但客人從不理睬她。

　　When he was going to get off the plane, the passenger asked the stewardess to hand him the passengers’ booklet. She was very sad. She knew that he would write down sharp words, but with a smile she handed it to him.

　　要下飛機(jī)了，客人叫空姐拿來(lái)留言簿，空姐很傷心，她知道客人要寫(xiě)下批評(píng)的話，但她仍微笑著把留言簿遞給了客人。

　　Off the plane, she opened the booklet, and cracked a smile, for the passenger put it, “On the flight, you asked me whether I need help or not for twelve times in all. How can I refuse your twelve sincere smiles?”

　　下了飛機(jī)，空姐打開(kāi)留言簿，她笑了，因?yàn)榭腿藢?xiě)道：“在飛行中，你微笑著問(wèn)我需不需要服務(wù)，一共有12次，我怎么能拒絕你12次真誠(chéng)的微笑呢?”

　　That’s right! Who can refuse your twelve sincere smiles from a person?
