  Pestilence-strichen multitudes: O Thou,

Who, chariotest to their dark wintry bed 戰(zhàn)車 wintry bed: the earth

  …

The trumpet of a prophecy! O Wind, prophecy: 預(yù)言

If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both 可惜我不能兩條都走。

And be one traveler, long I stood 我站立良久,形影孤獨(dú),

And looked down one as far as I could 遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)眺望,順著一條路,

To where it bent in the undergrowth; 看它轉(zhuǎn)到灌木林后。

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim, 挑上這條或許有點(diǎn)道理:

  Because it was grassy and wanted wear; 這條路草深,似乎少行人;

Though as for that the passing there 實(shí)際上來(lái)往的腳印,

Had worn them really about the same, 使兩條路相差無(wú)幾。

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way, 前途多歧,這我也知,

I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence;

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--- 樹(shù)林里路分兩股,而我呢---

I took the one less traveled by, 選上的一條較少人跡,

And that has made all the difference.

There Was A Child Went Forth

There was a child went forth every day,

And the first object he lool’d upon, that object he became,

And that object became part of him for the day or a certain part of the day,

Or for many years or stretching cycles of years.
