炎熱的夏天 The Hot Summer
When July comes, it is the hottest time of the whole summer. Many of my friends have chosen to travel to the cool place, so as to avoid the stuffy air. As for me, I don't like to travel in this hot weather. I just want to stay indoors and enjoy the quiet moment. I like to sit near the window, watching outside scenery. Sometimes I will read some books, enjoy the novel and make myself lost in the fiction world. The things I like to do most is to find a coffee shop and then choose a table that is near the window, so that I can see all the situation. I will bring my computer and then play the computer for the whole afternoon. It is what I like to do in the summer. I enjoy it.
七月到來(lái)之際，是整個(gè)夏天最熱的時(shí)候。我很多朋友都選擇去涼爽的地方旅行，順便躲避悶熱的空氣。對(duì)于我來(lái)說(shuō)，我不喜歡在這種炎熱的天氣旅行，我只想呆在家里，享受安靜的時(shí)刻。我喜歡坐在窗戶旁邊，看外面的風(fēng)景。有時(shí)我會(huì)看一些書(shū)，享受小說(shuō)的熏陶，沉迷于小說(shuō)的世界里。我最喜歡做的事就是找一家咖啡店，然后選擇一張靠近窗戶的桌子，這樣我就可以看到所有的場(chǎng)景。我會(huì)帶上我的電腦，然后玩一整個(gè)下午。這是我在夏天喜歡做的事。我也非常享受這樣的時(shí)刻。
My View on Playing Computer Games
As the development of our society, computer has become an necessity of general families. We students also have more chances to play it or use it in our study.However, everything has two sides. Many students are addicted to computer games and spend all their time in playing. Some of them even fail in their study.Therefore, some people argue that playing computer games in harmful to students and it should be prohibited strictly. From my point of view, spend some time in computer games will not do harm to us. Firstly, it won’t cost us much time, so our study and rest will not be influenced. Secondly, all work and no play make Jack a dull boy. Although we are busy in our study, it doesn’t mean that we can’t play at all. Some games may be good to us to some extent. I think the one thing we should concern is that we should control ourselves properly. That is to say we can’t play games all the day. We must keep in mind that games are just for pastime and our priority is study.
隨著社會(huì)的發(fā)展，電腦已經(jīng)成為了普通家庭的必需品，學(xué)生也有了更多使用電腦的機(jī)會(huì)或者用在學(xué)習(xí)中。但是，同時(shí)它也是一把雙刃劍。許多學(xué)生沉迷電腦游戲，把所有時(shí)間都放在電腦游戲上，有的甚至嚴(yán)重影響了自己的學(xué)習(xí)。于是，有的人說(shuō)電腦游戲?qū)W(xué)生有害，應(yīng)該嚴(yán)厲禁止。我的觀點(diǎn)是，適當(dāng)?shù)赝嬉恍┯螒虿粫?huì)對(duì)我們學(xué)生造成影響。首先，它并不會(huì)占用我們很多時(shí)間，我們的學(xué)習(xí)和休息不會(huì)受到影響。其次，只會(huì)用功不玩耍，聰明孩子也變傻。雖然我們忙于學(xué)習(xí)，但那并不意味著我們一點(diǎn)玩樂(lè)的時(shí)間都沒(méi)有。在一定程度上來(lái)說(shuō)，適當(dāng)?shù)赝嫘┯螒蚴怯泻锰幍摹Ｎ覀冎灰刂坪米约?，控制好游戲的時(shí)間，別把時(shí)間都放在游戲上，記住電腦游戲只是消遣，學(xué)習(xí)還是我們的當(dāng)務(wù)之急，那就沒(méi)什么好擔(dān)心的了。
回到童年 Back to childhood
If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance more often, and never give up a thing because it was or inconvenient. if we want light, we must conquer darkness. perseverance can sometimes equal genius in its results. “there are only two creatures,” says a proverb, “who can surmount the pyramids—the eagle and the snail.”
假如我又回到了童年,我做事要更有毅力,永不放棄的事,因?yàn)樗腔虿环奖恪Ｈ绻覀円饷?就得征服黑暗。毅力在效果上有時(shí)能同天才相比。說(shuō),“能登上金字塔的生物,只有兩種——鷹和蝸牛”
if i were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; i would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. i would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once.the habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. i often hear grown up people say “ i could not fix my attention on the sermon or book, although I wished to do so” , and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth.
假如我又回到了童年,我要培養(yǎng)自己成為一種習(xí)慣的關(guān)注,我將讓我的手。我將優(yōu)秀的滑冰手從不試圖同時(shí)滑向兩個(gè)不同的方向。注意力的習(xí)慣成為我們生活的一部分,如果我們及早開(kāi)始。長(zhǎng)大我經(jīng)常聽(tīng)到人們說(shuō)“我不能集中注意聽(tīng)牧師講道或讀書(shū),盡管我希望這樣做”,原因是,不是青年形成的習(xí)慣。
if I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. it takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. it only needs early cultivation to become a power.
如果我是生活,我會(huì)更加注意記憶力的培養(yǎng)。我將加強(qiáng),教師通過(guò)每一個(gè)可能的方式,并在每一個(gè)可能的場(chǎng)合。需要一點(diǎn)努力工作要正確無(wú)誤地記住一些東西起初;但記憶很快幫助自己,給很少的麻煩。只需及早培養(yǎng),記憶自會(huì)成為一種才能。
