Today, my friends and I decided to take a visit to an old town which was near our city. We had heard of it for a long time, but we never had the chance to go there. A week ago, I happened to read an article about the old town. I was so curious and wanted to see it. It took us two hours to reach there. The town was separated from the city by the mountains. It was so quiet and the trees were green. I was very impressed by the clean river, which showed the town was unpolluted. The house was old style but I liked it a lot, and all the things here were so beautiful.
今天，我和朋友們決定去參觀我們市附近的一個古老的小鎮(zhèn)。我們一直都有聽說過這個小鎮(zhèn)，但我們從來沒有機會去過。一個星期前，我偶然讀到一篇關(guān)于老鎮(zhèn)的文章，我很好奇，想去看看它。我們花了兩個小時到達(dá)那里。群山把城市和小鎮(zhèn)隔開了，很安靜，樹也是綠綠的。那里干凈的河給我留下了非常深刻的印象，這說明了小鎮(zhèn)沒有受到污染。房子是舊式風(fēng)格，但是我喜歡，所有的東西都是如此的美麗。

Olympic Games hold every four years and I like to watch the matches so much. People always pay much attention to the champions, while for me, the inspiring players are easier to catch my attention. Though some players do not get the prize, they deserve applause as the champions have. I remembered that in the Beijing Olympics, in women’s 100-meter-race, a girl looked different from other athletes, because she worn scarf and was from Afghanistan. She lagged much behind other athletes, but she still got the intense applause. She showed to the world that Afghan women could join this big event. Her insistence helped her to come to the world stage.
奧運會每四年舉行一次，我很喜歡看比賽。人們的關(guān)注點總是在冠軍身上，而對我來說，激勵人心的運動員更容易吸引我的注意。一些運動員雖然沒有獲獎，但是他們應(yīng)該得到和冠軍一樣的掌聲。我記得在北京奧運女子100米賽跑上，一個女孩看起來不同于其他運動員，她戴著圍巾，來自阿富汗。與其他運動員相比，她的成績落后了很多，但她仍然贏得了熱烈的掌聲。她向世界展示了阿富汗婦女也可以參加這個大賽事。她的堅持幫助她走到了世界這個舞臺。

Nowadays, environmental pollution is very common. Resource waste is also seen everywhere. In order to protect the environment, to protect our earth, we need to live a low-carbon life. I usually go to school on foot, sometimes by bike. If I need to go to the other city, I will choose the public transportation and not ask my parents drive me there. If I am the last one to leave classroom or home, I will make sure all the lights are off. I always will save the water after washing clothes. And then use it to wash the toilet. Our earth is in our own hands.
如今，環(huán)境污染越來越普遍，資源浪費也隨處可見。要保護(hù)環(huán)境、保護(hù)我們的地球，我們需要低碳生活。我經(jīng)常是走路去學(xué)校，有時候騎自行車。如果我要去別的城市，我會選擇公共交通，而不會讓我父母開車送我。如果我是最后一個離開家或者教室，我都會再三確定燈是不是都關(guān)了。我總是會把洗完衣服的水留來沖廁所。我們的地球掌握在我們自己的手上。
