China's economy continued to fare well in April,bolstered by deepening supply-side structuralreform that is fueling innovation and the neweconomy, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS)said last Monday.

High-tech industry held up well, online retail salesincreased at a fast pace, and job growth remainedstrong, said Xing Zhihong, spokesman for the NBS.
國家統(tǒng)計局新聞發(fā)言人邢志宏稱，高科技產(chǎn)業(yè)持續(xù)向好，在線零售額增長迅速，就業(yè)增長保持強(qiáng)勁。
"The fundamentals of China's economy remain sound and sustainable despite slowing growth ofsome economic indicators," he said.

Official data showed the country's industrial output expanded by 6.5% year-on-year in April, 0.5 percentage point higher than a year earlier, but 1.1 percentage points lower than in March.
官方數(shù)據(jù)顯示，4月，我國工業(yè)產(chǎn)值同比增長6.5%，增速比上一年加快0.5個百分點，但較上月回落1.1個百分點。
Analysts, however, said China's full-year economic growth might decrease moderately.

"Several downside risks might come from infrastructure and real estate sectors (this year),"said Zhu Yiping, an analyst at Western Securities Co.
