　　1) for

　　判斷改錯：

　　(錯) For he is ill, he is absent today.

　　(對) He is absent today, for he is ill.

　　for是并列連詞，不能置于含兩個并列分句的句子的句首，只能將其放在兩個分句中間。

　　2) so, therefore

　　He hurt his leg, so he couldn't play in the game.

　　注意：

　　a. 兩個并列連詞不能連用，但therefore, then, yet.可以和并列連詞連用。

　　You can watch TV, and or you can go to bed.

　　He hurt his leg, and so / and therefore he couldn't play in the game.

　　b. although… yet…，但although不與 but連用。

　　(錯) Although he was weak, but he tried his best to do the work..

　　(對) Although he was weak, yet he tried his best to do the work.

　　條件狀語從句

　　連接詞主要有 if, unless, as/so long as, on condition that 等。.

　　if 引導的條件句有真實條件句和非真實條件句兩種。非真實條件句已在虛擬語氣中闡述。

　　unless = if not.

　　Let's go out for a walk unless you are too tired.

　　If you are not too tied, let's go out for a walk.

　　典型例題

　　You will be late ___ you leave immediately.

　　A. unless B. until C. if D. or

　　答案A。 句意：除非你立即走，否則你就回遲到的?？赊D(zhuǎn)化為 If you dong leave immediately, you will be late. B、D句意不對，or表轉(zhuǎn)折，句子如為 You leave immediately or you will be late.

　　感嘆句的結(jié)構(gòu)

　　感嘆句通常有what, how引導，表示贊美、驚嘆、喜 悅、等感情。

　　what修飾名詞，how 修飾形容詞，副詞或動詞，感嘆句結(jié)構(gòu)主要有以下幾種：

　　掌握它的搭配，即掌握了感嘆句的重點。

　　How +形容詞+ a +名詞+陳述語序

　　How+形容詞或副詞+陳述語序

　　What +名詞+陳述語序

　　What+a+形容詞+名詞+陳述語序

　　What+ 形容詞+復數(shù)名詞+陳述語序

　　What+ 形容詞+不可數(shù)名詞+陳述語序

　　How clever a boy he is!

　　How lovely the baby is!

　　What noise they are making!

　　What a clever boy he is!

　　What wonderful ideas (we have)!

　　What cold weather it is!

　　感嘆句的省略形式為：

　　What a clever boy (he is)!

　　典型例題

　　1)___ food you've cooked!

　　A. How a nice　　B. What a nice　　C. How nice　 D. What nice

　　答案D. 由于How 修飾形容詞，副詞;what修飾名詞。且food為不可數(shù)名詞，因此A，B 排除。C How + adj. 后面不能再加名詞，因此只有D正確，其句型為What + adj. +n. (不可數(shù))

　　2)___terrible weather we've been having these days!

　　A. What　 B. What a　　C. How　 D. How a

　　答案A. weather為不可數(shù)名詞，B，D排除。C為how + adj. 后面不應有名詞。只有A，符合句型What +形容詞+不可數(shù)名詞。

　　3) --- _____ I had!

　　--- You really suffered a lot.

　　A. What a time　　B. What time　　 C. How a time　　 D. how time

　　答案A.　感嘆句分兩類：

　　1：What + n.+主謂部分

　　2：How + adj. / adv. / v.+主謂部分。本題屬第一種，但省略了bad，相對于 What a bad time I had! 這是個習慣用語。
