　　Nothing's Carved in Stone (NCIS) 是一個具有非常專業(yè)的演奏水平的日本搖滾樂隊。樂隊始于吉他手生形真一在原樂隊Ellegarden2008年解散后，邀請STRAITENER樂隊的貝司手日向秀和一起做一些錄音。日向秀和推薦了和他一起合作過的鼓手(FULLARMAR)大喜多崇規(guī)也加入進來。早期他們?nèi)嗽跊]有主唱的條件下開始了錄音工作。生形真一在Myspace上注意到了原ABSTRACT MASH的主唱村松拓并對他產(chǎn)生了興趣，于是和大喜多崇規(guī)一起去看了他們的現(xiàn)場演出并被打動。于是村松拓被邀請加入樂隊。NCIS正式結(jié)成。

　　在2009年5月29日在千葉和BEA presents F-X共同出演7月開始ONE MAN TOUR「POLYPOID TOUR」後，ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL・SUMMER SONIC之類的大型ROCK FESTIVAL都會積極參與。

　　在同年12月發(fā)行第一張單曲「Around The Clock」，同時也進行他們第二次的ONE MAN TOUR-「Rigid Clocks TOUR」

　　2010年6月9日發(fā)行第二張專輯「Sands of Time」，7月10日開始「Sands of Time TOUR」。

　　因為他們的夏季巡演，比起去年參加的ROCK FESTIAVAL少了許多。

　　2011年6月8日發(fā)行第三張專輯「echo」，6月18日開始「Tour echo」。

　　2012年8月15日發(fā)行第四張專輯「Silver Sun」在EPIC Records Japan初次亮相，正式主流出道。
