If you are invited to attend a cultural event , such as going to the theatre, or the cinema or a concert ,you should arrive on time, or a bit earlier.
如果你應(yīng)邀參加某次文娛活動(dòng)，比如去看戲劇、看電影或聽音樂(lè)會(huì)，你應(yīng)該準(zhǔn)時(shí)到達(dá)，或者稍微提前一會(huì)兒到達(dá)。
If you are caught in a traffic jam or something else happens and you can't arrive on time . you must call and say you're coming,but you'll be late;
如果遇到了交通堵塞，或者發(fā)生了什么別的事，不能按時(shí)到達(dá)，你必須打個(gè)電話，說(shuō)清楚你要來(lái)的，但恐怕會(huì)遲到;
if you later discover that you cannot attend a certain cultural even ,you should call and explain why you cannot come.
