A: Yes , I have ever heared it , but I don’t know it clearly.
Can you tell me what it is?
B: Sure , I’d love to. The Dragon Boat Festival is one of the Chinese traditional festivals.We celebrate it to commemorate a great patriotic poet of China : Qu Yuan.
A: How do you celebrate it ?
B: We will make a food named Zong zi , which have many different fillings, There are so many kinds , like red bean paste,yolk,chestnuts,or other things. People in southern China like the zongzi with meat in it .
A: Wow , I almost drooled because of your description
B: What’s more ,there are also have the Dragon Boat play in some places of southern China.
A: That’s great. If I have a chance , I’d like to see it with my own eyes.
D: Oh ,what are you talking about ?
B:We are talking about the Dragon Boat Festival .
What’s your favorite festival ?
C: I like the Middle Autumn Festival most.
A: Why ?
C: Because it’s stands that we love our life with passion and look forward to the bright future. Besides , I like the food and story too.
A;Food and Story ?
C; Yes ,the food is mooncake which tastes very delicious and the story is between Chang-Er and Hou Yi.
A; Is that the story true?
C: No , it’s not true. It’s only legend.
A;Oh , I see, what is it?
C;Long long ago,the earth once had 10 suns circling it.
A;What ? 10 suns circling it.?
C Yes. But I told you it was only a legend. One day all 10 suns came out at once. The temperature of the earth went up quickly.
D:Wow. I guess many people 、plants and animals died. The high temperature must kill them.
C: Yes. It was a skillful archer who saved the earth.
A: Who is he?
C: Hou Yi.
A: How did he save the earth? Is he a sprint?
C: No. He only shot down nine suns. Everything will be ok.
A: He did a good job.
C: Yes. As his reward, the Heavenly Queen Mother gave him a bottle of magic liquid.
