　　(一)、 中國(guó)人與英美人打電話有很大差異。用英語(yǔ)打電話要掌握以下幾點(diǎn)：

　　1. 打電話人接通電話后可說(shuō)：Hello ! 接著說(shuō)：This is sb.speaking./Could(May)I speak to sb.?/Is sb.in? 但不能問(wèn)：Whoare you?接電話人可說(shuō)：Hello!Good morning/afternoon/ evening.緊接著 將自己的電話號(hào)碼或姓名告訴對(duì)方。如：(This is ) 3531968./This is Jim speaking.

　　2. 問(wèn)對(duì)方是誰(shuí)， 不說(shuō)：Who are you ? 而應(yīng)說(shuō)：Who's thatspeaking(calling)?/May I have y our name? /Is that sb. (speaking)?

　　打電話者若要拜托接電話人轉(zhuǎn)告要找的人某事時(shí)， 可問(wèn)：Couldyou take a message for me?/Please tell him (her)that(sth.)……./Tell him(her)I called./Will you please tell him (her)to c all me back later?

　　3.若對(duì)方打錯(cuò)電話，接電話者可說(shuō)：Sorry,you've dialed

　　the wrong number. 打電話人發(fā)現(xiàn)拔錯(cuò)號(hào)碼， 應(yīng)說(shuō)：Sorry,I'vedialed the wrong number.

　　4.代人接電話，最好說(shuō)：What name shall I give?/Who shall Isay is calling? 若要離開(kāi)去叫人， 須跟對(duì)方說(shuō)：Hold the line,please.I'll get him/her to phone.(別掛斷，我就去找他(她)聽(tīng)電話。 )或Hold on for a moment.(請(qǐng)等一會(huì)兒。)反之， 若電話要找的人在身邊，代接電話的人可說(shuō)：It's for you.或For you. (你的電話。)

　　5. 如果打電話要找的人不在， 代接電話的人可說(shuō)：Sorry,he/she isn't in.或I'm afraid he/she is o ut.(他/她不在。)如果問(wèn)對(duì)方是否要留話，說(shuō)：May I take a message for you? /Can Itake a messag e?/Would you like to leave a message?

　　6.若電話的線路忙或有問(wèn)題，可說(shuō)：The line is busy. (占線。)The line is dead.(斷線。)

　　(二)、電話對(duì)答

　　情況 (一) 打電話的人找的是你自己

　　對(duì)方：Is David there? David 在嗎?

　　你可以回答：Speaking. 我就是。

　　This is he. 我就是。 (注: 女的用 "This is she.")

　　You're speaking/talking to him. 你正在跟他說(shuō)話。

　　(注: 女的用 "You're speaking/talking to her.")

　　This is David. 我就是 David。

　　That's me. 我就是。

　　情況 (二) 打電話的人要找的人不在, 問(wèn)對(duì)方是否要留言

　　對(duì)方：Can I talk to David? 我可以跟David講話嗎?

　　你可以回答：

　　He's out on his lunch break right now. Would you like to leave a message? 他出去吃午飯了, 你要留言嗎?

　　He's not available right now. Can I take a message? 他不在, 我可以幫你傳話嗎?

　　情況 (三) 打電話的人要找的人不在

　　對(duì)方：May I speak to Mr. Liu? 請(qǐng)問(wèn) Gates 先生在嗎?

　　你可以回答： He's not here right now. 他現(xiàn)在不在這里。

　　He's out. 他出去了。

　　He's in a meeting right now. 他現(xiàn)在正在開(kāi)會(huì)。

　　情況 (四) 打電話的人問(wèn)他要找的人何時(shí)回來(lái)

　　情況 (十三) 電話打不通，你可以說(shuō)：

　　情況 (十四) (因自己忙等原因)請(qǐng)別人去接電話，你可以說(shuō)：
