作者：威廉·布萊克(William Blake)，英國第一位重要的浪漫主義詩人、版畫家，英國文學(xué)史上最重要的偉大詩人之一，虔誠的基督教徒。主要詩作有詩集《純真之歌》、《經(jīng)驗(yàn)之歌》等。早期作品簡潔明快，中后期作品趨向玄妙深沉，充滿神秘色彩。 他一生中與妻子相依為命，以繪畫和雕版的勞酬過著簡單平靜的創(chuàng)作生活。后來詩人葉芝等人重編了他的詩集，人們才驚訝于他的虔誠與深刻。接著是他的書信和筆記的陸續(xù)發(fā)表，他的神啟式的偉大畫作也逐漸被世人所認(rèn)知，于是詩人與畫家布萊克在藝術(shù)界的崇高地位從此確立無疑。
