英語口語:口語講解帶中文
Well, an emperor is a king, and a king is an emperor. In some countries people call him emperor, such as in China, and in Japan. But in some countries people call him king, such as in the UK,and Thailand.
And in many countries people call him Chairman, such as in China today, and in some countries people call him President, such as the USA.
So, the king ,the emperor, the Chairman and the President, they are all the same, but have different names.
這是不是“英語口語”?這是不是英語“知識(shí)島鏈”?
:The king, the emperor, the Chairman,or the President(whatever you may call him. 這句比較難:管你叫他什么) is the head of a country(國(guó)家元首).
以后見emperor,能說這一大串英語嗎?能這樣說“英語口語”嗎?
對(duì)比:Premier/Prime Minister(總理,首相) is the head of government(政府首腦)。
