Born in ****, I enrolled in Huazhong Univ. of Sci.&Tech. (HUST) as the youngest Chinese undergraduate in 1993. 新加坡留學申請書技巧
推薦信必須由具公信力的人撰寫才有信服力。評估申請人是否具備未來發(fā)展必要的學術或專業(yè)資格。
推薦人必須誠實、真正了解申請人的學經歷，且推薦信內容一切需以「事實」為依據。
推薦信內容應當與申請人所繳交其他信息中對于自己的描述「不相抵觸」，而且要「相互呼應」。
避免過度籠統和陳腔濫調。
好的推薦信應當由具備相當知名度、且與申請人熟識的人撰寫。申請人職場上的長官、同事、或學校里的老師是最佳人選。相處時間夠久，寫的推薦信才有價值。
推薦人的學術領域或技術背景最好是與申請人申請科系相同。另外亦可委托與學校當局或學校評審委員關系密切的人撰寫。
好的推薦信應當可以解答學校評審委員在審查申請書時會發(fā)現的一些問題。
推薦信的重點應該放在學校評審委員最認為最重要的消息。如果你申請的科系以專業(yè)知識或實用性為主，主管或公司同儕會是比老師更好的推薦人人選。相反的，如果你申請念 Ph.D. 或以學術為主的科系，教授對于您學術資格的評估則較具可信力。
推薦人評估申請人的基準應當在推薦信中詳細寫出。(例如，推薦人過去五年內任教的大學中，申請人在所有教過學生當中確切的排名;或是申請人的業(yè)績占公司前一年總營業(yè)額的百分比。
去新加坡留學的壞處
1.現實不如想象，反差較大。
現在中國大多數人對新加坡的印象非常好，如環(huán)境優(yōu)美如畫、國民素質良好、中英文通用等。但現實總與想象有段距離，所以許多中國學生到了新加坡后就感覺非常失望了。其實，了解一個國家，并不是一朝一夕能做到。
2.新加坡人不是中國人。
好象是句廢話，但卻是實話。許多中國學生到了新加坡之后發(fā)現，新加坡人對中國人的態(tài)度也不都盡如人意。
在新加坡，上了年紀的人多數對中國懷有良好的感情，但有相當一部分年輕人，特別是一些很“西化”的人對中國人很排斥。有些人甚至不屑于說漢語。這令許多中國學生感覺非常不好。其實，正是因為新加坡官方語言是英語，才能令中國學生能獲得國際認可的文憑。
3.學校教育質量未必非常高。
中國學生來到新加坡后發(fā)現，新加坡人的英語帶口音、教學質量也未必比國內高多少;而且，同樣花一筆錢，新加坡文憑畢竟不如英美國家的管用。此外，新加坡只有兩三所大學比較有名，有些學校卻是打著招生的名義招工。
