發(fā)展階段
TCL的品牌之路可以分為三個(gè)階段。
第一階段:規(guī)模積累階段(1981-1991)
這一階段,奠定了TCL基因:靈活、不教條、務(wù)實(shí),不空談,大膽實(shí)踐,探索、創(chuàng)新;開放透明;不等、不靠、不伸手,靠自己、靠嚴(yán)格、靠制度……這是TCL從誕生之日起就深入骨髓的DNA,任何情況下都不會(huì)改變。
1981年,在惠陽地區(qū)機(jī)械局電子科的基礎(chǔ)上,組建惠陽地區(qū)電子工業(yè)公司,開始TCL集團(tuán)的早期創(chuàng)業(yè)。
1985年,興辦中港合資的“TCL通訊設(shè)備有限公司。
1986年,TCL商標(biāo)在國家工商行政管理局商標(biāo)注冊(cè)。
1986年,開發(fā)出我國最早的免提式按鍵電話,通過生產(chǎn)鑒定,創(chuàng)立“TCL”品牌。
1989年,TCL電話機(jī)產(chǎn)銷量躍居全國同行業(yè)第一名并一直名列前茅。
1991年,在上海成立第一個(gè)銷售分公司,隨后又在哈爾濱、西安、武漢、成都等地建立銷售分支機(jī)構(gòu),成為今天TCL全國性銷售網(wǎng)絡(luò)的雛形。
第二階段:企業(yè)高速成長階段(1992-1998)
這一階段,TCL基因積聚力量,創(chuàng)造了高速發(fā)展的奇跡,用自己勇于實(shí)踐的歷程詮釋了什么是改革,這就是小平同志講的摸著石頭過河。沒有可以借鑒的,靠自己按照市場規(guī)律摸索向前,高速發(fā)展伴隨著曲折的改革,完成了中國制造具有代表意義的改制,率先成為現(xiàn)代企業(yè)制度規(guī)范下的具有競爭力的中國制造企業(yè)。TCL在制造領(lǐng)域的這個(gè)歷史成就,某種意義上說,可以說和推動(dòng)農(nóng)村家庭聯(lián)產(chǎn)承包制的小崗村可有一比。
1992年,研制生產(chǎn)TCL王牌大屏幕彩電,投放市場一炮走紅。同時(shí),著手導(dǎo)入CI系統(tǒng),成為國內(nèi)較早實(shí)施CIS的國有企業(yè)之一。
1993年,TCL將品牌拓展到電工領(lǐng)域,成立TCL國際電工(惠州)有限公司。
1993年,TCL電子(香港)有限公司成立。
1993年,TCL通訊設(shè)備股份有限公司股票在深交所上市,是國內(nèi)通訊終端產(chǎn)品企業(yè)中第一家上市公司。
1994年,率先推出國內(nèi)第一部無繩電話。
1995年,TCL集團(tuán)公司改組,下設(shè)“通訊”、“電子”、“云天”三大集團(tuán)。
1995年,TCL電話獲國務(wù)院發(fā)展研究中心市場經(jīng)濟(jì)研究所授予"中國電話大王"稱號(hào)。
1996年,TCL集團(tuán)兼并香港陸氏公司彩電項(xiàng)目,開創(chuàng)國企兼并港資企業(yè)并使用國有品牌之先河。
1997年,TCL集團(tuán)公司調(diào)整企業(yè)結(jié)構(gòu),撤消三個(gè)專業(yè)集團(tuán),重組為TCL集團(tuán)有限公司。
1998年,中國進(jìn)出口銀行與TCL簽定“20億元人民幣出口賣方信貸一攬子授信協(xié)議”,為TCL開拓海外市場提供了有力的資金支持。
第三階段:創(chuàng)全球領(lǐng)先企業(yè)(1999-至今)
這一階段,TCL在發(fā)展的基礎(chǔ)上尋求自我突破,抓住機(jī)遇開始走出去,大膽突破。通過國際并購、遭遇挫折、絕地重生,為TCL布局全球架構(gòu)和競爭力開了先河,為中國企業(yè)走出去積累了寶貴經(jīng)驗(yàn)。這是TCL基因的又一次爆發(fā),探索者的勇氣伴隨著孤獨(dú)和痛苦,搏擊在改革開放最前沿——國際化征途的風(fēng)口浪尖。TCL不屈不饒,成為中國制造先進(jìn)性的典型代表之一。
1999年,TCL國際控股有限公司股票在香港成功上市。
1999年,TCL斥資控股翰林匯軟件產(chǎn)業(yè)公司,大舉進(jìn)軍信息產(chǎn)業(yè)。
2001年,TCL移動(dòng)通訊全年銷售手機(jī)130萬臺(tái),銷售收入突破30億元,成長為集團(tuán)又一重要經(jīng)濟(jì)增長點(diǎn)。
2002年,TCL手機(jī)在中國市場排名第三,位列國產(chǎn)手機(jī)首位。
2003年,TCL集團(tuán)以319億元人民幣銷售收入排名中國電子信息百強(qiáng)企業(yè)第四位。
2004年,TCL集團(tuán)在深圳證券交易所正式掛牌上市。
2005年,TCL彩電銷量雄居全球首位。
2007年,TCL彩電核心技術(shù)獲美國國家電視學(xué)院艾美獎(jiǎng),這是中國公司歷史上首次獲得該獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。
2008年,TCL集團(tuán)公布2007年盈利性年報(bào)并摘掉“*ST”帽子。5月19日,“TCL集團(tuán)”(000100)重返深證100指數(shù)。
2008年,中國彩電業(yè)年度行業(yè)總評(píng)揭曉,TCL一舉奪得“中國數(shù)字電視年度國際成功大獎(jiǎng)”、“年度液晶電視大獎(jiǎng)”、“年度綠色健康產(chǎn)品大獎(jiǎng)”以及“消費(fèi)者最喜愛的彩電品牌”四項(xiàng)大獎(jiǎng)。
2009年,TCL王牌電器(惠州)有限公司、惠州TCL移動(dòng)通信有限公司等7家公司被認(rèn)定為首批“國家級(jí)高新技術(shù)企業(yè)”。
2010年,由深圳市政府和TCL集團(tuán)共同投資245億元的華星光電8.5代液晶面板項(xiàng)目隆重開工。
2011年,“TCL助力中國男籃主贊助商簽約儀式暨TCL 30周年珍藏版新品發(fā)布”活動(dòng)在北京隆重舉行。
2012年,TCL集團(tuán)發(fā)布公告,2012年度LCD電視銷量1578.10萬臺(tái),躋身全球彩電三強(qiáng),這也是中國彩電企業(yè)首次沖入全球液晶彩電第一陣營。
2012年,第45屆國際消費(fèi)電子展(CES)上,TCL榮獲技術(shù)創(chuàng)新單項(xiàng)大獎(jiǎng)“年度智能云計(jì)算電視”獎(jiǎng),同時(shí)蟬聯(lián)全球消費(fèi)電子TOP50和全球電視品牌第六名。
2012年,由華星光電研制成功的110吋四倍全高清3D液晶顯示屏“中華之星”在京正式發(fā)布。
2013年,好萊塢星光大道地標(biāo)性建筑“好萊塢中國大劇院”,正式更名為“好萊塢TCL中國大劇院”。這是該劇院建成85年來首次與企業(yè)進(jìn)行冠名合作。
2013年,TCL家電(合肥)產(chǎn)業(yè)園項(xiàng)目在合肥市肥西縣桃花工業(yè)園舉行奠基儀式,TCL計(jì)劃總投資70億元,年產(chǎn)800萬臺(tái)冰箱、洗衣機(jī)的中高端冰洗生產(chǎn)線項(xiàng)目正式啟動(dòng)。

2015年,2015(第21屆)中國品牌價(jià)值100強(qiáng)公布,TCL品牌價(jià)值710.28億元,持續(xù)保持增長,在中國電視機(jī)制造業(yè)第10次蟬聯(lián)榜首。
2015年9月17日,胡潤研究院發(fā)布《2015胡潤品牌榜》,TCL集團(tuán)品牌價(jià)值15億,漲幅比例達(dá)448%,較去年上升4倍多,位列十大增值品牌榜榜眼;在家用電器品牌價(jià)值排名中,TCL由去年的第七位躍升到第四位。

2015年12月11日晚間,TCL多媒體和樂視網(wǎng)同時(shí)發(fā)布公告,樂視網(wǎng)通過樂視致新在香港設(shè)立的全資子公司投資約18.71億人民幣,以6.5港元/股的價(jià)格認(rèn)購TCL多媒體新股3.49億股。本次投資完成后,樂視網(wǎng)將通過樂視致新持有TCL多媒體約20%的股份,并向TCL多媒體提名2名董事。

2016(第22屆)中國品牌價(jià)值100強(qiáng)研究報(bào)告在美國波士頓揭曉。TCL集團(tuán)品牌價(jià)值765.69億元,連續(xù)11年蟬聯(lián)中國電視機(jī)制造業(yè)第一名。
2016年TCL集團(tuán)通過全資子公司與美國無線移動(dòng)寬屏頂尖品牌Novatel Wireless (NASDAQ: MIFI)簽署協(xié)議,收購Novatel Wireless旗下MIFI(智能移動(dòng)熱點(diǎn)設(shè)備及移動(dòng)寬帶)業(yè)務(wù),對(duì)價(jià)為5000萬美金。

2016年12月16日,BlackBerry公司與TCL通訊宣布達(dá)成長期的授權(quán)許可協(xié)議,正式完成授權(quán)。至此,黑莓將停止對(duì)BlackBerry手機(jī)的設(shè)計(jì)、生產(chǎn)制造,而TCL將經(jīng)營黑莓手機(jī)。
海外市場
TCL集團(tuán)持續(xù)推進(jìn)全球化戰(zhàn)略,2014年實(shí)現(xiàn)海外銷售收入454.62億元,同比增長28.53%,占集團(tuán)總體銷售收入的比例提升至46.60%,是本年度集團(tuán)業(yè)務(wù)增長的主要?jiǎng)恿?。其中,TCL多媒體電子總銷售收入共計(jì)265.66億元,其中海外市場小幅增長,實(shí)現(xiàn)銷售收入90.95億元,同比增長5.91%。
