Enjoy that uniquenesss1. You do not have to pretend in order to seem more like someone else. You do not have to lie to hide the parts of you that are not like what you see in anyone else.
You were meant to be different. Nowhere, in all of history, will the same things be going on in anyone’s mind, soul and spirit as are going on in yours right now.
If you did not exist, there would be a hole in creation, a gap2 in history, and something missing from the plan for humankind. Treasure your uniqueness. It is a gift given only to you. Enjoy it and share it!
No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can. No one can speak your words. No one can convey your meanings. No one can comfort others with your kind of comfort. No one can bring your kind of understanding to another person. No one can be cheerful and light-hearted3 and joyous4 in your way. No one can smile your smile. No one else can bring the whole unique impact of you to another human being.
Share your uniqueness. Let it flow out freely among your family and friends, and the people you meet in the rush and clutter of living, wherever you are. That gift of yourself was given to you to enjoy and share. Give yourself away!
See it! Receive it!
Let it inform you, move you and inspire you!
You are unique!

The future can be anything we want to make
I do not know who wrote those words, but I have always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want to make it.
We can take the mysterious, hazy future and carve out of it anything that we can imagine, just like a sculptor carves a statue from a shapeless stone.
We are all in the position of the farmer. If we plant a good seed, we reap a good harvest. If our seed is poor and full of weeds, we reap a useless crop. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.
I want the future to be better than the past. I don’t want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors with which history is filled. We should all be concerned about the future because that is where we will spend the reminder of our lives.
The past is gone and static. Nothing we can do will change it. The future is before us and dynamic. Everything we do will effect it.
Each day will brings with it new frontiers, in our homes and in our businesses, if we will only recognize them. We are just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeavor.
the importance of time good morning, dear teacher and my friends!
my name is ----.i’m a student of great 7 from --xmiddle school. i ’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech today. my topic is “the importance of time”.
someone says: “time is money!” but i think time is even more important than money. why? because when money is spent, we can get it back. however, when time is gone,it will never return no matter how rich you are.
but it is a pity that there are a lot of people who do not know the importance of time . they spend all day on smorking, drinking and playing.they do not know that wasting time means wasting life.
as to us, a middle schoole student, school time is a very important period for our growing up. we should make full use of it to do something usefull, just like learning different kinds of knowledge , taking exercise for a good health and so on.
in a word , we should save time.time is limited and so,very precious. it will not return any more when it is gone.
that’s all for my speech.thank you!(或者 thanks for your listening!)
Life is not about just getting by。 Life is about reaching ever higher, building one achievement on top of another, and creating real, meaningful value in each moment。
A mon stone on the ground does a great job of just getting by。 You, on the other hand, are destined1 for much more spectacular things。 Yes, indeed, you will certainly meet a number of challenges when you make the effort to raise your world even a little bit higher。 The good thing is, you are superbly equipped to thrive on those challenges。
If life seems unsuccessful, it’s not because of the challenges or limitations that stand in your way。 It’s because you refuse to see the exceptional opportunities that those challenges represent。
This is your precious and unique life, and it is absolutely worth all the trouble and effort you must go through to make it great。 Within you at this moment are beautiful dreams, and you can begin to live in the direction of those dreams whenever you choose。
Let go of the false security of just getting by, and get yourself into focus on a purpose that will bring your life gloriously to life。 Your very own pathway to success is just one quick step away。
no young man believes he shall ever die. it was a saying of my brother's, and a fine one. there is a feeling of eternity in youth, which makes us amend for everything. to be young is to be as one of the immortal gods. one half of time indeed is flown-the other half remains in store for us with all its countletreasures; for there is no line drawn, and we see no limit to our hopes and wishes. we make the coming age our own-
the vast, the unbounded prospect lies before us.
death. old age. are words without a meaning. that paby us like the idea air which we regard not. others may have undergone, or may still be liable to them-we "bear a charmed life“, which laughs to scorn all such sickly fancies. as in setting out on delightful journey, we strain our eager gaze forward-
bidding the lovely scenes at distance hail!
and see no end to the landscape, new objects presenting themselves as we advance; so, in the commencement of life, we set no bounds to our inclinations. nor to the unrestricted opportunities of gratifying them. we have as yet found no obstacle, no disposition to flag; and it seems that we can go on so forever. we look round in a new world, full of life, and motion, and ceaseleprogress; and feel in ourselves all the vigor and spirit to keep pace with it, and do not foresee from any present symptoms how we shall be left behind in the natural course of things, decline into old age, and drop into the grave. it is the simplicity, and as it were abstractedneof our feelings in youth, that (so to speak) identifies us with nature, and (our experience being slight and our passions strong) deludes us into a belief of being immortal like it. our short-lives connection with existence we fondly flatter ourselves, is an indissoluble and lasting union-a honeymoon that knows neither coldness, jar, nor separation. as infants smile and sleep, we are rocked in the cradle of our wayward fancies, and lulled into security by the roar of the universe around us0we quaff the cup of life with eager haste without draining it, instead of which it only overflows the more-objects prearound us, filling the mind with their magnitude and with the strong of desires that wait upon them, so that we have no room for the thoughts of death.
The first time in life? Then grasp your chance with your perfect performance on the dating night, by learning the following principle in heart.
Dress properly. While everyone wants to give an impressive debut on the first date, you should avoid wearing something too bizarre to be accepted. If you are still in school, a sportswear can fulfill your purpose. For businessman or grownups, casual clothes are recommended. Never put up your working uniforms,no matter how well you like that Armani suit. It is no work. A few accessories such as a pair of sunglasses or silver loops on the wrist can add up to the romance sphere.
Take a bath before dating. And if you like, spray a little perfume, but unless you're sure that he or she likes the smell, don't use ones that are too strong.
Watch your manner. You're no prince of the Scotland nor Cinderella in the legend. Proper manners will ensure a lasting relationship while bad ones scare away your sweetheart. And do make sure you do not boast about your fortune, for, not everyone are green addicts. And your way of smiling, or your greatestoath, should neither be "coy" nor "by St. Loy!" after the nun in Chaucer.
Be a little sensitive than merely innocent. Do make sure you do not intrude his or her privacy on the first date. For there maybe something deeply concealed within the inner core of every heart, of which the owner doesn't share often with anyone but his intimacy.
Finally, wish you good luck. May you get your hearts combined and start a new journey in the miracle of life and love. Stay tuned till a borderline is reached, and keep on through out the whole way.
王永同學(xué)用詞簡單、結(jié)構(gòu)精煉,讀起來節(jié)奏快,例如:“Dress Properly....If you are still in school,a sportswear can fulfill your purpose. For businessman Orgrowmups, casual clothes are recommended.”
Don’t allow your troubles to get the best of you. Instead, allow those troubles to make the best of you.
Don’t tire yourself out fighting against the challenges. Instead, find new energy by embracing1 those challenges and working through them to create real value.
Always remind yourself that discour-agement is nothing more than a response you’ve chosen. When you find that you’ve chosen to let it be, you can just as surely choose to let it go.
Replace discouragement with determin-ation. It is your life’s energy, and you can point it in whatever direction you choose. Your most powerful response is not based only on what has already happened. Your most powerful response also takes into account what you wish to make happen next.
Look forward, and envision in great detail the future you desire. Then gather all your energy, and step forward to make it be.
A son and his father were walking on the mountains. Suddenly, the son falls, hurts himself and screams, "AAAhhhh!!!"To his surprise, he hears the voice repeating, somewhere in the mountain," AAAhhhh!" Curious, he yells," Who are you?" He receives the answer,"Who are you?" Angered at the response, he scream,"Coward!" He receives the answer,"Coward!"
He looks to his father and asks,"What's going on?" The father smiles and says,"My son, pay attention." And then he screams to the mountain, "I admire you!" The voice answers," I admire you!" Again the man screams,"You are a champion!" The voice answers,"You are a champion!" The boy is surprised, but does not understand.
Then the father explains,"People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE. It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions. If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart. If you want more competence in you team, improve your competence. This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life. Life will give you back everything you have given to it."
