Good environment can make people feel happy and fit . To improve the environment means to improve our life.
We should plant more trees and flowers around us . We shouldn’t cut them down . We should stop factories from pouring waste water into the river and waste gas into the air.
Whenever we see litter on the ground , we should pick it up and throw it into dusbins. Never spit in public. Don’t draw on public walls. It’s our duty to protect the environment.

In the last several decades, our earth has been extremely polluted, such as air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on. In recent years, the extreme weather becomes more and more frequent. Winter gets colder and summer becomes hotter and it rains more frequently. All of these warn us that protecting the environment is a serious and emergent event. As our general people, we should build proper lifestyle. We should pay attention to water and light saving. When we go out, we should firstly choose the public transportation. The most important is that we must realize that we can do a lot of things to protect our environment. We all know it is becoming more and more important to protect our environment well.We should stop cutting down trees ,dropping litter everywhere and throwing waste before it is processed. It has caused lots of problems such as much rich land becomes desert;Rivers become dirty ;The air is becoming worse and worse ;The temperature is becoming hotter and hotter.So we must do something to change the situation.We'd better walk or ride bikes to work or go to school instead of driving a car,We mustn't use plastic bags.Our government must take some measures to prevent factories producing smoking etc.

Many people are active in fighting against unfair treatment to colored people, women , animals and so on. Right now I am talking about fighting for respect to our environment.Though the environment doesn't have a mouth to deprecate what humans have done to her, she retaliates through action. In the early years the Chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of the yellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods. As a result, the Huangtu plateau which was once covered with grass and forests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. Another example was in several developed countries. Because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filtering it, cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people were killed by the air they breathed in. What horrible scene!What we are suffering is only a small part of what the nature once suffered. If we don't take action to show respect to the environment.
Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we are relying. First governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers and lakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well. Second voices should be made to announce the public of the importance of protecting the environment. Third enterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on the environment and work out solutions for the problems.
Only by changing the way we treat the environment can we get along well with it. Only by saving the environment can we save ourselves.

Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment。 There were few people on the earth， and natural resources seemed to be unlimited。Today things are different。 The world has bee too crowded。 We are using up our natural resources，and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals。 If we continue to do this， human life on earth will not survive。 We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea， there will soon be none left。 Yet，with modern fishing methods， more and more fish are caught。We know that if too many trees are cut down， forests will disappear。 Yet， we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees。 We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products， we will die。 Yet， waste products are still put into rivers。
過(guò)去，人們不必?fù)?dān)心保護(hù)環(huán)境的問(wèn)題。因?yàn)槟菚r(shí)地球上人口稀少，自然資源似乎取之不盡。如今，一切都改變了。世界變得擁擠異常。我們正在耗盡我們的自然資源，有毒化學(xué)制品的使用也正污染著環(huán)境。如果我們繼續(xù)這樣下去，地球上的生命將不復(fù)存在。我們都明白如果從海里捕捉太多的魚(yú)，海里就不會(huì)再有魚(yú)了?？墒牵F(xiàn)代化的捕魚(yú)技術(shù)使得捕魚(yú)量越來(lái)越大。我們都明白如果砍伐太多的樹(shù)木，森林就會(huì)消失?？墒?，我們?nèi)耘f使用強(qiáng)大的機(jī)械砍伐越來(lái)越多的樹(shù)木。我們都明白如果河水被廢棄物污染的話，我們僅有死路一條?？墒菑U棄物仍然源源不斷地進(jìn)入河里。
We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate， in a few years， there won't be enough food。What can we do to solve these problems?If we eat more vegetables and less meat， there will be more food available。 Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept。Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them。The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control。
我們明白，人口繼續(xù)照此刻這個(gè)速度增長(zhǎng)的話，不出幾年，就會(huì)發(fā)生食物短缺。我們?cè)撊绾谓鉀Q這些問(wèn)題呢?如果我們多吃蔬菜，少吃肉類(lèi)的話，我們就會(huì)有更多的食物。因?yàn)橥瑯哟笮〉耐恋厝绻N莊稼的話會(huì)比養(yǎng)殖動(dòng)物多養(yǎng)活五倍多的人。如果我們學(xué)會(huì)再利用的話，自然資源就能持續(xù)更久。如果人們使用現(xiàn)代化的生育控制方法，世界人口就不會(huì)增長(zhǎng)如此迅猛。
Finally， if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future。
最終，如果我們能夠教育人們都意識(shí)到這些問(wèn)題的話，未來(lái)我們就會(huì)有一個(gè)更好、更潔凈的星球。
