趣味英語單詞速記法
1.形象比較
例如，glass(玻璃杯)和grass(草地)兩個詞的詞形相近，很容易混淆。記憶時可以對兩個單詞中不同的字母“r”和“l”加以聯(lián)想。可以把“r”形象地描繪成小草的樣子，那么有“r”的grass就是“草地”的意思，這樣就能與glass區(qū)分開了。
2.畫圖記憶
例如，學(xué)習(xí)eye這個詞時可以畫個圓圈當(dāng)作一張臉，把單詞eye放進去，兩個“e”看做兩只眼睛，把“y”當(dāng)成鼻子。通過想像，一張臉活靈活現(xiàn)地展現(xiàn)在眼前，對eye一詞的印象就深刻了。
3.變換字母
通過變換字母的方式，可以在對同形詞的辨別中學(xué)到許多單詞。例如：pull(拉)--bull(公牛)--gull(海鷗);band(帶子)--bend(彎曲)--bund(堤岸);air(空氣)--aim(目標(biāo))一aid(幫助);mouth(嘴)一month(月)一mouse(老鼠)。
4.添加字母
例如，記憶“日記”一詞時，先從“日、天”引入，寫出day，而在空白處添加上“i”和“r”就成了“diary”。又如，學(xué)習(xí)boil(沸騰)一詞時，可以先寫出oil(油)，試想像“油”加熱后的情形，就不難掌握boil這個詞了。
5.刪節(jié)字母
這種方法是將一個單詞前面的字母逐漸縮減變成另外一個詞。例如，class(班級)去掉第一個字母后變成lass(少女，情人)，去掉第二個字母又成了另外一個單詞ass(傻瓜)。
