表語(yǔ)從句是在復(fù)合句中做表語(yǔ)的名詞性從句,一般放在系動(dòng)詞之后。表語(yǔ)從句的結(jié)構(gòu)是主要+系動(dòng)詞+表語(yǔ)從句。可以接表語(yǔ)從句的系動(dòng)詞有be,look,remain,seem等等,可以接表語(yǔ)從句的結(jié)構(gòu)有the reason why…is …that和it is because等。它在從句中主要起的作用是對(duì)主語(yǔ)進(jìn)行解釋說(shuō)明。可以引導(dǎo)表語(yǔ)從句的連接詞有that/whether/as if,連接代詞有who/whom/whose/which/that,連接副詞有when/where/why/how/because等等。比如在表達(dá)這就是因?yàn)槲覀兡莻€(gè)時(shí)候需要錢的時(shí)候考生就可以使用表語(yǔ)從句即That’s because we were in need of money at that time.

托福寫(xiě)作解析之賓語(yǔ)從句

賓語(yǔ)從句就是在復(fù)合句中做主句的賓語(yǔ),它的結(jié)構(gòu)一般是主語(yǔ)+連詞(引導(dǎo)詞)+賓語(yǔ)從句。①當(dāng)賓語(yǔ)從句是陳述句的時(shí)候,一般由連詞that引導(dǎo),但是因?yàn)閠hat在從句中并不做任何成分,也沒(méi)有任何具體的意思,所以在托福寫(xiě)作考試中,that可以省略。比如考生在表達(dá)她說(shuō)他不會(huì)參加明天的運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)的時(shí)候可以這樣表達(dá)She says (that) she won’t take part in the sports meeting next Sunday.但是需要考生注意的是當(dāng)賓語(yǔ)從句中的that做介詞賓語(yǔ)的時(shí)候或者當(dāng)that從句與另一名詞性從句并列做賓語(yǔ)的時(shí)候,第二個(gè)that是不可省的。即在The reason lies in that she works harder than the others do.中介詞in之后的that不可省略。

②當(dāng)賓語(yǔ)從句是一般疑問(wèn)句的時(shí)候,引導(dǎo)詞就可以換成連詞whether或者if,譯為是否,因?yàn)檫@些連詞有一定的意義,所以考生在使用的過(guò)程中不能省略。比如考生在表達(dá)Lily想知道她的姥姥喜不喜歡她的包的時(shí)候就可以這樣組織語(yǔ)言.Lily wanted to know if/whether her grandmother liked the handbag.

③當(dāng)賓語(yǔ)從句是特殊疑問(wèn)句的時(shí)候,可以由連接代詞what,who,whom,which,whose或者連接副詞when,where,how,why等引導(dǎo),這些詞匯在從句中往往也擔(dān)任一定的句子成分,所以不能省略。
