　　suggest是個(gè)及物動(dòng)詞，后面可以跟名詞、代詞、動(dòng)詞-ing形式或從句作賓語(yǔ)。各種試題中對(duì)suggest的考查通常涉及到它的非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞形式、賓語(yǔ)從句及虛擬語(yǔ)氣等方面。下面對(duì)suggest的相關(guān)考點(diǎn)進(jìn)行一下總結(jié)。

　　suggest作“(間接地)表明、建議、使想起”解時(shí)，后面可跟名詞、代詞或動(dòng)詞-ing形式作賓語(yǔ)。如：

　　That girl's sun-tanned face suggests excellent health.

　　那個(gè)姑娘被太陽(yáng)曬黑了的臉表明她身體非常健康。

　　Mr. Smith suggested a way out of the difficulty.
