一、《青蛙王子》
旁白：Once upon a time, there was a king and his beautiful daughters. Their castle was very close to a large forest.One hot summer day, the youngest princess went into the forest to play her favourite toy, a little golden ball. She liked throwing it to the sky and then caught it. Suddenly the ball fell off and rolled into the spring. The princess was very sad when she heard a voice:
青蛙：What’s the matter, little girl?
旁白：The princess stood up and looked around.
公主：Who is there?
青蛙：Down here.
公主：It’s only you. I am looking for my ball.
青蛙：Hmmm... I can help you look for it.
公主：Really?
青蛙：But what will you do for me in return?
公主：I can give you all kinds of beautiful things.
青蛙：But I have a better idea. I want to be your best friend and share everything with you. Have dinner with you, sleep next to you...
旁白：The princess felt so strange to hear this. But she had to agree to the frog’s demands because she loved her ball so much.
The frog jumped into the spring and found the ball near the bottom. Then he rolled it to the princess.

故事梗概
在人們還可以實(shí)現(xiàn)愿望的古代，那時(shí)候有個(gè)國王，他有好幾位公主。雖然每位公主都貌美如花，但是她們中的小公主更是光艷照人，連見過很多世面的太陽，在每次向她灑下萬道金光時(shí)，也因她的美而驚奇不已。
在國王城堡附近有一片廣闊無垠的黑森林，在林中的一棵老菩堤樹下，有一口水井。天氣炎熱時(shí)，小公主總會(huì)到林中的那口井邊，坐在涼爽的井臺(tái)上。如果呆的時(shí)間比較長，她還會(huì)拿出一個(gè)金球，在手里拋上拋下，這是她最喜歡的游戲。
有一天，小公主把球拋出后，球卻沒有落回她拋球的小手里，球掉在井邊，然后就滾進(jìn)了井里，小公主眼睜睜地看著它下沉。
那口井很深，簡直是深不見底，小公主開始哭泣?？扪娇扪?，似乎誰也安慰不了她。
就在這時(shí)，她聽到有個(gè)聲音對(duì)她說，“什么事使您如此傷心啊，公主?您的眼淚連鐵石心腸的人也能感動(dòng)?！?/p>
小公主抬起頭來朝發(fā)出聲音的地方看去，發(fā)現(xiàn)有只青蛙正把它那呆笨腦袋瓜子伸出水面。
“噢!是你嗎?你這個(gè)搖搖晃晃的家伙，”小公主說道，“我是在為我掉到井里的金球而哭呀?！?/p>
“沒有關(guān)系，別哭了。”青蛙回答，“我能夠幫助您，但是如果我再把您的球撿起來，您會(huì)給我什么報(bào)酬呢?”
“你要什么我就給你什么，親愛的青蛙，”公主說，“我的任何衣服，珍珠寶石，甚至我頭上的金冠，都可以?！?/p>
“您的衣服，您的珍珠寶石，您的金冠我都用不著，”青蛙回答說，“但是，如果您會(huì)愛我，把我當(dāng)作您的同伴，親吻我一下，那么我就潛入水底，替您把金球再拿上來?！?/p>
“好的，”公主思考了一下，答道，“我答應(yīng)你這個(gè)要求，只要你再把球給我拿回來?！?/p>
青蛙一聽到她表示同意，就鉆進(jìn)水里不見蹤影了。一會(huì)兒，它嘴里銜著球冒出了水面，然后就把球扔在草地上。
當(dāng)公主看到她的漂亮的玩具時(shí)，心里非常歡喜，揀起球就走了。
就在這時(shí)候，青蛙抬起它可憐巴巴的圓眼睛懇求道：“求您了，親愛的公主，只有您的吻能夠破除邪惡的女巫施在我身上的詛咒?！?/p>
美麗的公主被它迫切的懇求打動(dòng)了，她彎下腰，捧起這個(gè)滑溜溜的動(dòng)物，親吻了這只小青蛙。
瞬間，青蛙身上的咒語解除了，變成了一個(gè)有著一雙迷人而親切的眼睛的王子。
后來公主與青蛙王子結(jié)了婚，從此幸福地生活在一起。
二、《一位老太太和她的貓》
There is an old woman in England. 在英格蘭住著一位老太太。
She doesn t like children at all. 她一點(diǎn)也不喜歡孩子。
But she loves cats. 但她喜歡貓。
She has black cats and white cats. 她有一只黑白相間的貓。
She has mother cats and baby cats. 她有貓媽媽和貓寶寶。
So the children like to come to her house. 所以孩子們喜歡來她的房子。
They come to play with the cats. 他們和貓一起玩耍。
More and more cats come to the old woman s house.

Soon there are too many cats and the old woman can t feed them at all.
