When mentioning a person I saw in the news who I really want to meet, I would say Zhong Nanshan, the leading respiratory specialist in China, who was the hero fighting the SARS pandemic. And today, even though he’s already 84, he is leading the whole country to fight against the coronavirus and with the efforts of him and other medical staff, our country is almost recovering from the disease. The reason why I want to meet him is that I really appreciate him for all his sacrifice and contribution. We can see how he has just taken step by step to lead us get through the hardship, from dispelling public fear towards the unknown risky disease to encourage people to self distance for the sake of containing the disease etc.
His words and guidance always reassured the public and helped fight against the coronavirus. The whole country, all Chinese, we owe him and all other people on the frontline a big thank you. Now, the war isn't over yet. We still should be extra careful until the disease is totally under control. Otherwise, all the efforts will end up being in vain.
