　　wish的用法

　　1.wish作為及物動(dòng)詞,可接名詞或代詞作賓語.

　　Do you wish a pen or a book?

　　你要的是鋼筆還是書?

　　2.wish能接雙賓語表示祝愿.

　　I wish you success.我祝你成功.

　　3.wish能接復(fù)合賓語.

　　I wish you to go with me.

　　我希望你同我一道去.

　　4.wish能接that引導(dǎo)的從句,從句的謂語動(dòng)詞要用虛擬語氣(動(dòng)詞用過去時(shí),或過去完成時(shí)).

　　I wish that I knew the answer.

　　我希望我知道這個(gè)答案.

　　I wish I had bought it yesterday.

　　我希望昨天買了它.

　　hope和wish的區(qū)別

　　hope用作動(dòng)詞時(shí),后面可接不定式或that從句,但不能接“賓語+不定式”.如：

　?、賅e hope to see you again.(= We hope we can see you again.)

　　我希望能再次見到你.

　?、贗 hope you can help me with my maths.

　　希望你能幫助我學(xué)數(shù)學(xué).

　　(不能說 I hope you to help me with my maths.)

　　wish后面接不定式或“賓語+不定式”都可以,其意義相當(dāng)于“想要”,“希望”(=would like或want).wish接 that從句時(shí)一般表示某種強(qiáng)烈而又難以實(shí)現(xiàn)的“愿望”,而hope表示的是可以實(shí)現(xiàn)或能達(dá)到的“希望”.例如：

　?、買 wish to place an order right now.

　　我想馬上訂購.

　　②I wish him to make progress.

　　我希望他取得進(jìn)步.

　?、跧 wish I could fly like a bird.

　　但愿我能象鳥一樣飛.(從句中的could表示其動(dòng)作不可能實(shí)現(xiàn),不能用can.)

　?、躀 hope he can do that.

　　我希望他能干那件事.(本句表示有可能實(shí)現(xiàn)的一種希望,can不能用could代替.)

　　wish可表示良好的“祝愿”,后面接“賓語+賓補(bǔ)(形容詞或名詞).而hope不能這樣用.如：

　?、買 wish you happy.祝你幸福.(不用hope)

　?、贗 wish you a pleasant journey.祝你旅途愉快.(不用hope)

　　在簡(jiǎn)略句中,如要表示希望某事不會(huì)發(fā)生時(shí),應(yīng)說I hope not,而不說 I don"t hope so.

　　wish的虛擬語氣用法

　　動(dòng)詞wish后接賓語從句時(shí)，從句謂語要用虛擬語氣。若要表示與現(xiàn)在事實(shí)相反的愿望，從句謂語用一般過去時(shí)或過去進(jìn)行時(shí);若表示與過去相反的愿望，從句謂語用過去完成時(shí)或would / could+have +過去分詞;若表示將來沒有把握或不太可能實(shí)現(xiàn)的愿望，用would (could)+動(dòng)詞原形。如：

　　I wish I were not so busy. 但愿我不那樣忙碌。

　　I wish I were [was] better looking. 要是我長得漂亮些就好了。

　　She wished she had stayed at home. 她后悔的是她當(dāng)時(shí)要是留在家里就好了。

　　I wish you would go with us tomorrow. 要是你明天同我們一起去就好了。

　　I wish you wouldn’t look down on this kind of work. 我希望你不要看不起這種工作。

　　This watch has gone wrong. I wish I had bought a better make. 這只表壞了，我真愿意我買的是好一點(diǎn)的牌子。
